Officers in Chippenham are investigating a robbery which occurred in one of the town's parks and are appealing for witnesses.
Between approximately 9pm and 9.45pm on September 7, a man in his 20s was walking in Monkton Park when he was assaulted by two men who attempted to steal his watch.
The incident happened near the bridge by the wooded area.
The victim fought back and the pair ran off in the direction of either Baydons Lane or Sunningdale Close.
Enquiries are currently ongoing. It is not known whether there were any witnesses to the incident in the area at the time, however, if you think you witnessed the incident, please get in touch.
