Officers witnessed a suspected drug deal just before 10am this morning, in an area which has seen an increase in anti-social behaviour.
DS James Isaac said: “Both uniform and plain clothed police officers from Local Policing Tasking Team were in the College Road area this morning when they spotted a group suspected to be involved in drug dealing.
“People may have seen a disorder and shouting while we responded.
“We would urge anyone who has concerns over anti-social behaviour, which includes drug dealing, we would urge you to get in contact. We can not act if we do not have intelligence and we need your help to identify problems.”
One of the teenagers who was arrested on suspicion of possession of cannabis has been released under investigation with a referral to Youth Justice Service.
A second teenager, arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply cannabis remains in custody for questioning.
