A man has been charged and remanded following an incident in Upper Stratton, Swindon.
Officers were called to an address in Burns Way on Friday morning (6/10) following a report of a man with a suspected firearm.
A man was arrested at the scene and a firearm was recovered.
Dean Snarey, 42, of Burns Way, has been charged with possession of a firearm while committing a schedule one offence and blackmail.
He has been remanded in custody to attend Swindon Magistrates Court on Monday (9/10).
