A man was arrested following a report of a burglary in progress in Old Town, Swindon, yesterday (9/10).
Police were called at approximately 10.30am following reports that a window had been smashed at an address in Victoria Road and a man had been seen near the address.
Officers attended and located a man inside.
Damage had been caused inside the property estimated at around £4,000.
A man in his 30s was arrested on suspicion of burglary and taken to Gablecross for questioning. He has since been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
