A woman has sadly died following a collision in Malmesbury yesterday morning (07/11).
At around 10.15am, an 81-year-old pedestrian was involved in a collision with a car on the A429 while crossing the road at the Blicks Hill junction.
She was taken to hospital with serious injuries and, despite the best efforts of the emergency services, died during the night.
Her next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers. Our thoughts are with them at this sad time.
Our enquiries into the incident remain ongoing.
Any witnesses to the collision or anyone who may have dash cam is asked to contact the serious collision investigation team on 01225 694597 quoting log number 76 of yesterday’s date.
Alternatively, they can contact the team directly at [email protected].
