Two drug dealers who were arrested at Swindon train station last year have been jailed for a total of seven-and-a-half years.
Khaalid Isaaq, 19, of Slade Lanker, Birmingham, and Kieran Little, 22, of Easton Drive, Sittingbourne, were arrested by officers from our Fortitude team back in October last year and were found to have large packs of street ready deals of crack and heroin.
Following their arrests for being concerned in the supply of class A drugs, officers carried out extensive telecoms enquiries on the mobile phones seized, which produced vital evidence that they were involved in county lines drug dealing, trafficking class A drugs from London and selling them on to vulnerable drugs users on Swindon’s streets.
Isaaq was sentenced to 40 months in a young offenders institution while Little was sentenced to a total of 50 months imprisonment.
Investigator James Purcell said: “Both Little and Isaaq played significant roles in the supply of class A drugs into Swindon from London and the harm caused by their dealing would have undoubtedly been far-reaching.
“We are committed to making Swindon, and the county of Wiltshire, a hostile one for drug dealers and will continue to target dealers like Little and Isaaq who travel in to our county to go about their business.
“We’d urge the community to help us by reporting any concerns regarding drug dealing in their area.”
