Officers investigating a robbery which occurred near Swindon train station are appealing for witnesses.
Between approximately 3.45pm and 4pm on June 4, a 19-year-old man was cycling past the station and onto Sheppard Street. He was stopped by two men where East Street meets London Street.
The two men shouted at him to get off his bike and demanded he hand over the bike and his phone.
The victim was kicked and then punched several times to the face.
The men made off with the victim’s phone and bike which was an Archie Wilkinson bike with a white frame with black handle bars.
We believe there were multiple people in the area at the time of the incident including a member of the public who shouted at the suspects and mentioned calling police, but did not do so.
