A driver was taken to hospital with life threatening injuries following a single vehicle collision in Swindon last night. (24/7)
At approximately 11.20pm, a car left the carriageway on a bend on The Ridgeway/Draycott Road and collided with a tree in a ditch.
The driver, a 17-year-old man, was flown to hospital in Bristol with life threatening injuries.
The front seat passenger, a 17-year-old girl, suffered hand injuries and went to hospital in Swindon.
Three other occupants of the vehicle were uninjured.
No other vehicles were involved.
