Shortly before 9pm on October 31, a firework was thrown at a Mazda MX5 which was parked in Oxford Road.
The firework exploded, causing deep scratches to the bonnet expected to be approximately £2,000 worth of damage.
Enquiries have been ongoing and we now believe the offender was travelling as a passenger in a white BMW 1 Series hatchback vehicle when the firework was thrown.
Two vehicles are believed to have driven past the scene directly behind the suspect and it is possibly they may have information which could assist.
We are appealing to these drivers, or anyone who was in the Oxford Road area of Calne around this time on October 31, who may have a dash cam fitted to their vehicle, to get in touch.
