David Clift, 45, of Truckle Road, was arrested on Wednesday (9/11) following reports of a number of non-dwelling burglaries in the Larkhill and Tidworth areas.
Clift has been charged with a break-in at an address in The Packway on November 5, where he stole a charity box, a burglary in Old Sarum between November 2 and 6 and a burglary in Tidworth on September 1 where cash and other items were stolen. He was remanded in custody and appeared at Salisbury Magistrates Court today (11/11).
The case has been committed to Salisbury Crown Court on December 2 where 11 further burglary offences will also be taken into consideration.
Insp Tina Osborn said: "Officers from our Neighbourhood Teams and Volume Crime Teams have been working closely to target repeat offenders. Burglary can have a lasting impact and it is crucial that these offences are thoroughly investigated."
