Witness appeal after theft of mobility scooter in Amesbury

We are appealing for witnesses following the theft of a mobility scooter in Amesbury.

It was stolen from outside of a property in Archers Way some time between 1pm and 4.30pm on 17/04/22.

It is described as a red Voyager motor scooter, with a basket, high backed padded seat and a mirror on the right hand-side of the handle. It had a sticker with Middletons on the front.

 

PCSO Mark Douse, from the local policing team, said: “The victim in this case, a woman in her 50s, requires this mobility scooter to travel about and the loss of it has caused her great distress.

“Thankfully, kind-hearted members of the public have helped her replace it, but we still need to investigate this theft.

“If you believe you have seen it, perhaps offered for sale or abandoned somewhere, then please call us.”
