Three teenagers have been arrested following a disorder in Swindon at the weekend.
The incident happened in Faringdon Park on Saturday May 7 between 5.30pm and 6pm. A group of young people were approached by a group of males in the park and a disorder took place.
The victim sustained injuries as a result of a knife being used and was taken to hospital but has since been discharged. A second victim also sustained facial injuries.
Yesterday, officers made the following arrests:
• A 15-year-old male from Swindon arrested on suspicion of GBH, possession with intent to supply class A and B drugs
• A 16 year old male from Swindon arrested on suspicion of GBH, possession of an offensive weapon and possession of a class B drug
• A 17-year-old male from Swindon arrested on suspicion of GBH, possession of a bladed article and possession with intent to supply a class B drug.
All three were taken to custody and have since been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
