At approximately 3pm on January 28, a man in his 40s was riding his bike along the canal between London Road bridge and Brickham Bridge, when he moved to the side to allow three males to pass. As he passed them, one of the males pushed him, causing him to fall down the bank and into the canal.
The incident caused damage to the victim’s bike and he sustained injuries to his wrist, ribs and leg.
It is believed the three males were all in their early 20s, wearing dark coloured scruffy clothing. They left the scene in the direction of London Road bridge.
