We’re appealing for witnesses to a two vehicle collision from which a driver fled the scene.
Officers were called to Kingshill Road in Swindon at approximately 3.15am this morning (27/02) following a report of a collision involving a Mercedes Benz and a Volkswagen Polo.
The incident happened near to the junction for Clifton Street. The male driver of the Polo decamped from his vehicle. A female passenger of the Polo was taken to Southmead Hospital by ambulance.
Three female passengers inside the Mercedes and the male driver sustained minor injuries.
We’d like to appeal to any witnesses to the collision to get in touch, as well as anyone who saw a man running from the scene following the collision.
Do you live in the area and have a video doorbell or CCTV which could have captured relevant footage? Were you driving in the area around this time and do you have dash cam footage?
