Three men arrested in connection with aggravated burglary in Trowbridge

Three men have now been arrested in relation to an aggravated burglary in Trowbridge.
The incident happened at approximately 9.30am on August 18. A group of men were reported to have attempted to force entry into an address in Fore Street and threatened the occupants with a knife.
One of the occupants – a man in his 40s – attempted to flee the group by jumping from a window, causing an injury to his pelvis in doing so.
Enquiries have been ongoing since the incident – last week, two men aged in their 20s were arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary. They have since been released under investigation.
Today, a third man in his 30s was arrested. He remains in Melksham custody for questioning.
