A man has today appeared in court charged with murder following the death of Salisbury man Freddie Fontete-Jones.
Connor Pool, 24, of Salt Lane, appeared at Winchester Crown Court today (4/4).
The offence he has been charged with was changed from Section 18 GBH to murder as authorised by the Crown Prosecution Service.
Freddie, 23, died in hospital following an assault in Salisbury on February 20.
Pool pleaded not guilty to murder and will next appear at court for a case management hearing on June 10 with a provisional trial date on October 31.
