Officers were called to the pub shortly after 11pm to reports of a large number of people fighting and refusing to leave the venue.
There were two reported minor injuries following the incident.
A 29 year old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of ABH and has since been released.
PC Carl Bond said: “Were you in the Woodlands Edge pub on Saturday night or passing by at about 11pm? If so, we would like to hear from you.
“It was a busy evening in this venue and I’m sure there will have been many potential witnesses. If you saw what took place, it’s important that you make contact.”
