We are committed to providing a high standard of service.

However, there may be occasions when you feel dissatisfied with some aspects of the service and wish to make a complaint.  The role of our Professional Standards Department is to investigate complaints and misconduct allegations against Wiltshire Police officers and staff thoroughly, efficiently, impartially and to the highest possible standard.

You can make a complaint directly to the Wiltshire Police using the three options below, or you can report directly to the Independent Office for Police Misconduct (IOPC) by choosing the IOPC link.  Please note, if you complain via the IOPC, your complaint will be forwarded directly to Wiltshire Police to be assessed.

Once your complaint is received, the Professional Standards team will assess your complaint and contact you about how it will be handled.
