A hearing has concluded that a Wiltshire Police officer’s behaviour amounted to gross misconduct.
The hearing was held at Wiltshire Police Headquarters between 25 November and 28 November 2024 and was chaired by Assistant Chief Constable Ian Saunders. The panel concluded that the actions of PC Storm Brand breached the Standards of Professional Behaviour for police officers of Authority, Respect and Courtesy, Equality and Diversity and Discreditable Conduct.
The panel considered and upheld four allegations against PC Brand. As a result, PC Brand was dismissed from Wiltshire Police without notice. He will also be placed on the national barred list which means he will not be able to work in policing in the future.
In line with the Police Conduct regulations 2020, the officer has a period of 10 working days to appeal the outcome
