Police costs incurred for the badger cull in Wiltshire during 2018 amounted to £443,107.23

These costs are covered in full by DEFRA (Department for Environment Food & Rural Affairs)

Badger culling is a Defra initiative, licensed by Natural England, to carry out targeted culls in selected rural areas in an attempt to tackle bovine TB.

The following cost information relates only to forces who participated in the 2018 Cull Operation: Cumbria, Glos, West Mercia, Staffordshire, Cheshire, Devon and Cornwall, Dorset and Wiltshire.
