A serious traffic collision occurred on the A3102 Mannington Roundabout, Great Western Way, Swindon.
At 10.07 am today, Thursday 20 September 2018, emergency services were called to the report of a single vehicle collision involving a black BMW.
The driver of the BMW, a 49 year old local man, received serious injuries and was taken to hospital where he is currently being treated. His family have been made aware.
Road closures were put in place from Junction 16 of the M4 along Great Western Way to Mannington. Recovery vehicles attended the scene and we can confirm that the road is being reopened.
