To visit or stay in the United Kingdom, some foreign nationals are required to register with the police force where they are living within 7 days of arrival.
If you need to register, this requirement will be shown on your visa, passport, Biometric Residence Permit (BRP) or Home Office letter.
*** In the current Covid-19 pandemic, you will be asked to self isolate for 14 days on arrival to the UK. You must complete the online registration form within 7 days of arrival to book an appointment on a date after your self isolation. ***
Failure to register with the relevant police force when required to do so risks a fine of £5,000 and/or 6 months imprisonment.
