Chris was appointed Director of People and Change in June 2019 having joined the Force in October 2008.

As part of the Force's Executive Leadership Team, Chris supports the organisation in understanding its objectives, outcomes, and efficiency and effectiveness in achieving them. Chris is driven by a desire to understand 'why' and has a passion for innovation, analysis, system improvements and developing successful teams. 

Chris' previous roles include leading the implementation of a new force-wide operating model, shifting the organisational performance culture and reviewing the hierarchy following the rank removal of both Chief Inspector and Chief Superintendent.
