|Priorities for Wiltshire West CPT|
|Updated on: 13/07/19|
|Priority 1||CSW - Community Speed Watch Enforcement|
Every 2 weeks, 4 Community Speedwatch Schemes across West Wiltshire are selected for additional targeting and enforcement to supplement the CSW team planned sessions. The current Speedwatch Schemes being supported are as follows;
Southwick - Trowbridge, Snowberry Lane - Melksham, Dilton Marsh - Westbury and Crockerton - Warminster.
|Priority 2||OP ARTEMIS - Rural Crime, theft, burglary, poaching and criminal damage - All rural areas across West Wiltshire|
Summary: We continue to focus on Rural Crime, specifically theft at beauty spot car parks, burglary, hare coursing, criminal damage at various remote and rural locations across West Wiltshire. High visibility Pro-Active targeted patrols will be focused during the day, evening and nights shifts.
|Priority 3||Youth ASB and Criminality - Trowbridge, Melksham, Westbury and Warminster|
We are conducting regular proactive patrols in key areas at key times in four of our local towns in West Wiltshire. We aim to reduce ASB and crime connected to a small number of youths by working with partner agencies such as YOT (Youth Offending Team) Wiltshire Council and local schools to offer support and diversionary options for these youths and their families to reduce the level of incidents and complaints.
