Trowbridge man jailed for more than three years for multiple offences
A Trowbridge man has been jailed for more than three years and disqualified from driving after admitting drug dealing and driving offences. Warren Fenty, aged 22, of Blackthorn Way, Staverton, appeared at Salisbury Crown Court on Friday (17/01) and pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply cocaine, dangerous driving and actual bodily harm.
Stalking Protection Orders introduced today to better protect victims
Today (20/1) sees the introduction of Stalking Protection Orders which will provide another tool for police forces nationally, as well as the courts, to help protect victims and improve their safety. The orders will be introduced under the Stalking Protection Act 2019 and will enable early police intervention, pre-conviction, to address stalking behaviours before they become entrenched or escalate in severity.

Abnormal load warning for motorists in Westbury, Trowbridge, Melksham and Chippenham areas
Drivers in the Westbury, Trowbridge, Melksham and Chippenham areas are being warned that they may experience delays tomorrow (7/1). An abnormal load is due to leave Brook Lane, in Westbury at 10am and travel along the B3097 to Trowbridge, where it will join the A350 before travelling onwards through both Melksham and Chippenham to the M4 at Junction 17.
Appeal for information following spate of sheep thefts
Officers from our Rural Crime Team are investigating three separate incidents of sheep thefts in the county. The first incident was reported to us on November 7 - approximately 45 sheep had been stolen from a gated and locked field in Corsham Road, Lacock.
