We are urgently appealing for witnesses following a break-in at Tesco Express, Chippenham. At approximately 5.10am this morning (Thursday 15 August), four men broke in through the front doors of the store in Hathaway Retail Park.
Three men arrested in Chippenham on suspicion of drug offences
Three men were arrested in Chippenham last night after officers stopped a vehicle suspected to have been involved in drug activity. At approximately 10pm on Tuesday 13 August, officers received information that a Seat Arosa was heading in the direction of Chippenham and that the occupants had been involved in drug deals in the area. The vehicle was stopped by officers in Malmesbury Road near to the junction with Hillcorner Road.
Guilty pleas in Emiliano Sala case
Two members of staff at a CCTV operation firm have pleaded guilty to illegally accessing and photographing mortuary footage which showed the body of footballer Emiliano Sala. Sherry Bray, 49, of Charles Street, Corsham, pleaded guilty to three counts of computer misuse and perverting the course of justice. Christopher Ashford, 62, of Page Close, Calne, pleaded guilty to three counts of computer misuse.
Man, 22, arrested for drug and driving offences in Chippenham
A 22-year-old man from Chippenham was arrested on suspicion of drug offences yesterday after officers stopped a vehicle. At approximately 9pm on August 5, an officer from the Community Tasking Team was on patrol when they attempted to stop a Peugeot 206 in Lowden Hill.

We are investigating a robbery which occurred in Chippenham earlier this week and are keen to hear from any witnesses. At approximately 1am on Thursday 1 August, a man and woman aged in their 20s, were walking along Bath Road near to the Esso Garage, when they were approached by two men.

Appeal to trace driver involved in fail to stop incident in Lacock
We're appealing for witnesses following a fail to stop incident in the village of Lacock. At approximately 1.30pm on July 18, a vehicle overtook a line of stationary traffic on the A350 and collided with a workman who was operating a stop/go board. He also verbally abused the victim before driving off.
