Policing is not just done by police officers

It requires a large multi-disciplined and dedicated team of officers and police staff working together.

Our workforce is made up of both uniformed and non-uniformed staff who carry out vital roles supporting front line officers.

Whether you're interested in a public-facing role or playing your part behind the scenes, careers within the police cover everything from administration to investigation and other specialists.

We are committed to developing and maintaining a police service that employees are proud to work for because they feel safe, valued and part of a happy and supportive work community.
