Witness appeal after van driver dies in Goatacre collision
We are appealing for witnesses after a man died in a single-vehicle road traffic collision in Goatacre, near Calne, earlier today. We were called to The Green at around 11.20am today (28/10) following a report that a van had collided with a wall.
Appeal for information following incident in Melksham
We're appealing for information following an incident involving two dog walkers which occurred in Melksham. At approximately 7.30am on October 8, a man in his 60s was walking his daughter's dog off of Eastern Way near the new housing estate, when the dog was attacked by another dog.
Residents urged to be vigilant following burglaries in Stratton area
We'd like to warn residents in the Stratton area to be vigilant following reports of opportunist burglaries. Between 11pm on October 24 and 9.30am on October 25, a house in Frilford Drive was broken into. A handbag containing a purse, bank cards and headphones was stolen.

We are appealing for witnesses after an attempted knifepoint robbery in Swindon. It happened at around 1.15pm on Saturday (26/10/19) when the victim, a man in his 30s, was cycling along the Croft Trail.

Proactive officers in Salisbury investigating criminal damage to sweet shop
Officers conducting proactive patrols in Salisbury city centre discovered a shop had been targeted by vandals. The officers were patrolling in Blue Boar Row in the early hours of yesterday morning (24/10) when they found the door of Mr Simms Olde Sweet Shoppe had been damaged. Enquiries were carried out and officers located an individual nearby who appeared to have injuries to his hand.
Appeal after vehicles damaged on the A419
Officers from our Roads Policing Unit are appealing for witnesses following an incident on the A419 yesterday (23/10). At approximately 8.30pm, three vehicles were struck with large rocks whilst travelling along the A419 northbound, near to the White Hart roundabout.
Man and woman injured following catapult incident in Salisbury
A man and woman were injured following an incident in Malthouse Lane, Salisbury, at the weekend and we are keen to speak to witnesses. The pair, aged in their 40s who are not local to the area, were walking towards City Hall Playhouse between 4.50pm and 5pm on October 20 when a man is believed to have shot at them with a catapult.
Spate of catalytic converter thefts
We have seen a spate of catalytic converter thefts from vehicles in recent weeks and we are urging the public to be vigilant. The thefts have occurred predominantly in the North and West Wiltshire areas and the vehicles being targeted are mainly Toyota Prius and Honda Jazz.
