Wiltshire Police is appealing for information to identify a man officers would like to speak to in relation to a fraud at a shop in Swindon.

On Monday 29 May 2017, at around 7.45pm, a suspect entered Aldi on Latham Road, Swindon and bought an item, while he was paying for it he asked the cashier to give him change in £10 notes; once these had been handed to him he then changed his mind and asked for £5 notes.  While giving the £10 notes back to the cashier he hid some of them in his jacket.  He then left the store having stolen £70.

During this incident, there was a second male suspect sat opposite the till, staring at the cashier throughout this incident.

CCTV images of the first man officers would like to speak to in relation to this incident are attached.
