Tribute to motorcyclist who has sadly died following A36 collision

A motorcyclist who was involved in a collision on the A36 in Warminster on Saturday 5 August 2017 has sadly died in hospital.

Alex Brown, aged 21, from Wylye, Warminster, was taken to Southampton General Hospital following the collision near the Crockerton Roundabout.

He passed away today surrounded by his family.

His family have released the following tribute:

"It is with great sadness that on the 10th August 2017, Alex passed away with his loved ones by his side.

“He was the most loving, outgoing and compassionate young man who thought that life was worth living and had so many plans for the future.

“He will be sorely missed by all his friends and family and remain within their hearts forever.

“We would like to thank all the members of public who helped Alex at the scene of the collision and the subsequent healthcare professionals who tried so hard to help him."

Alex’s family has asked that the media allow them to now grieve in peace.
