As part of the national Home Office ‘Not in my Neighbourhood Week’ Wiltshire Community Safety Partnership, which includes Wiltshire Police, Wiltshire Council, Wiltshire Fire & Rescue and other partner organisations, have joined together to showcase the work they have done locally to solve neighbourhood issues such as anti-social behaviour.  Some of the issues here in Wiltshire are based around rowdy and inconsiderate behaviour, vehicle nuisance, graffiti, litter and abandoned vehicles.

The dedicated week runs from 2 November to 6 November 2009.  During this week partnership road shows will be held where information and advice will be provided on neighbourhood issues.  Present throughout the day will be officers from Neighbourhood Policing Teams (NPTs) the local Community Area Managers (CAMs) and Anti-social Behaviour Reduction Officers (ASBRO) from Wiltshire Council and representatives from Wiltshire Fire & Rescue. 

We will also be asking visitors to these events to let us know their priorities for their neighbourhood area so that they can have an influence on how crime and anti social behaviour is tackled.
