About me:

My name is Toni Evans and I pleased to be assisting with the role as Community Beat Manager for Chippenham Town North East in the absence of PC Rachel WEBB for a period of approximately 3 months. I have been a Police Constable since 2003. I started my career in Chippenham as a Response Officer and after 4 years I became a Community Beat Manager in Corsham. Following this I have returned to Chippenham as a Response Officer and assisted Team 2 as Acting Sergeant. I believe that community based policing is the best and most valuable tool in the fight against crime. I am looking forward to meeting people in the community and carrying on the good work that Rachel has already implemented within her area.

The Policing Pledge, local priorities and follow up actions

PDF Document Click here to view the Policing Pledge

Consultation with the local community is at the heart of successful neighbourhood policing and it is this engagement that will determine the priorities for the Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) and partner agencies. As a result each NPT has identified the three main priorities* for their neighbourhood and these have been listed below along with follow up actions by the police:

  • ANTI-SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR - COWLEAZE, MONKTON PARK
Police have organised an operation to tackle the anti-social behaviour in the area. This operation consists of foot patrols in the area and dealing with offences robustly. The reported anti-social behaviour in the area will be monitored closely by your Neighbourhood Policing Team and we look forward to reporting positive results in the near future.
  • PARKING/OBSTRUCTION - SADLERS MEAD
Police and partnership activity is being planned and undertaken on this priority and a full update will be provided in due course

*A priority may be for a certain area of your NPT. The same priority in different areas will only appear once.
For more information, please contact your Community Beat Manager.
