The Major Investigation Team (MIT) deal with all serious and major crime across the county, including the investigation of murder, manslaughter, kidnap, extortion, work related deaths and cases of medical negligence.

The MIT are complimented by the HOLMES (Home Office Large Major Enquiry System) Team who record and manage all documents and material from major enquiries and disasters.

The Serious and Organised Crime Investigation Team (SOCIT) tackle serious and organised crime and disrupt organised crime groups that may put communities in Wiltshire at risk of serious harm.
