Priorities and follow up actionsConsultation with the local community is at the heart of successful neighbourhood policing and it is this engagement that will determine the priorities for the Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) and partner agencies. As a result each NPT has identified the three or more main priorities* for their neighbourhood and these have been listed below along with follow up actions by the police:
 Speeding (Warminster Road heading towards Chalford and the Wellhead Drove junction, The Mead, Trowbridge Road, Mane Way, Station Road.)Priority details 11/12/2012 - 11/06/2013 The NTG have stated that there is a problem with vehicles where it is perceived that they are travelling at excess speed. Activities in your area Outcomes from the activities in your area Litter (The footpath between the rear of the High Street and public car park leading to Edward Street, footpaths around Westbury Leigh.)Priority details 11/12/2012 - 11/06/2013 Over the recent months litter has been regularly dropped in areas along footpaths causing the area to look an eyesore. Activities in your area Outcomes from the activities in your area Police Visibility/Reassurance (All rural areas and remote sections of the sector.)Priority details 16/01/2013 - 16/07/2013 The Community are aware that there is a national and neighbouring areas problem with rural incidents, such as shed breaks, theft of working vehicles and poaching. The Community feel that they would like dedicated patrols to deter crime and also prosecute offenders where apprioriate.
