Priorities and follow up actionsConsultation with the local community is at the heart of successful neighbourhood policing and it is this engagement that will determine the priorities for the Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) and partner agencies. As a result each NPT has identified the three or more main priorities* for their neighbourhood and these have been listed below along with follow up actions by the police:  Anti Social Behaviour (Springfield park area between Valley Road and the Sports centre, skate park, BMX track and the youth shelter, also the park area on Meriton Avenue.)Priority details 19/01/2013 - 19/04/2013 This is the main area of congregation of youths and young adults. Although the number of anti-social reports have reduced significantly due to priority patrols and positive action, it is believed that young adults may be purchasing alcohol and supplying to youths. Parking/Obstruction (By the junction of 'The Wharf' on the A4.)Priority details 18/01/2013 - 18/04/2013 Obstruction of the Footpath on the A4 Box. There is a new Care home being built on the A4 Box by 'The Wharf' on the A4. We have had numerous complaints from Residents and the Parish Council regarding the builders Work Vans double parking on the unmarked footpath.
