Priorities and follow up actions

Consultation with the local community is at the heart of successful neighbourhood policing and it is this engagement that will determine the priorities for the Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) and partner agencies. As a result each NPT has identified the three or more main priorities* for their neighbourhood and these have been listed below along with follow up actions by the police:

    Groups of young people congregating in large numbers outside retail and leisure complex's, these groups are acting in a anti social manner, leaving litter and discouraging customers to the outlets and the area in general
