Wiltshire Police are appealing for witnesses and information after a man committed an indecent act in the Eldene area of Swindon on Friday 4th July 2011.

In particular, officers are keen to identify the man in the attached e-fit in connection with this incident.

At approximately 4.30pm on 4th July, two women, aged 18 and 19, were sat near to the adventure playground in Eldene, when a man entered the park on a bicycle and sat with his back against the railings of the fence surrounding the park.

At approximately 5pm one of the women noticed that the man was committing an indecent act and shouted over to him. As she called police, the man got on his bicycle and left the area.

The offender is described as white, aged in his 50s or early 60s, approximately 5’10” tall and of slim to average build with a ‘sagging’ chest. He had short grey/white hair and was wearing blue shorts, a blue baseball cap and sunglasses.

Anyone who recognises the man in the attached e-fit or has any other information in relation to this incident is asked to contact PC Barry Geering at Gablecross Police Station on 0845 408 7000. Alternatively they can contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where information may be left anonymously if preferred.
