Man found guilty of sex offences PDF Print E-mail

Statement released on behalf of investigating officer, DC Paula Clissold.

Stephen James Topp, 48 formerly of Lyndhurst Road, Landford has been found guilty of sexual offences today at Salisbury Crown Court.

Topp was charged with paying for the sexual services of a child and taking indecent images of children which were found on his computer.

This is an example of a sexual predator taking advantage of vulnerable young women to satisfy his own sexual cravings which included taking indecent photographs of the victims.

The young victims have been very brave in coming forward and speaking to police and we hope that this case will encourage other victims of sexual abuse to come forward.

Topp is due to appear for sentencing at Winchester Crown Court on 27th June 2011.
