Rendezvous Point (RVP) PDF Print E-mail

All vehicles and resources who need entry into the outer cordon must pass through the rendevouz point.

During an incident there may be a need to relocate the RVP, for example if the prevailing wind direction shifts and there is an airborne hazard. Experience shows that during incidents in and around chemical sites the wind direction can change several times in a few hours. If the RVP is relocated, it is vital that all agencies are informed of this to ensure all personnel remain safe.
