This is an allocated area that will be safe for landing by an Air Ambulance for rapid casualty evacuation if required. This would not be by the Wiltshire Constabulary Air Ambulance, in the first instance, as its role would be as air observers with real time data links to allow video footage of the scene from the air to be transmitted to officers on the ground. However the paramedic officer who is always on every flight would be dropped at the scene to give immediate assistance to those who are injured.

Other Air Ambulances responding to the scene would be through mutual aid from other counties.
