Splash – supporting young people this Summer PDF Print E-mail
Friday, 13 July 2012 09:30

Schools will be breaking up for summer holidays very soon and Splash are once again pleased to offer an extensive summer holiday programme full of positive activities for vulnerable young people

Activities, which are free to attend, include ‘Wet n Wild’ days, canoeing, kayaking and raft building, a ‘Catch it, Cook it, Eat it’ fishing and survival day, plus a Samba Dance project and a Street Dance project.

We are also delighted to launch our ‘Connecting the Community’ project this summer in Melksham – a first for Splash.  This project, supported by Melksham Area Board, is an inspiring art project working with renowned community artists ‘No Added Sugar’ and will be an opportunity to work with older people in the local community.

If you would like to nominate a vulnerable young person, aged between 10 and 16, visit www.splash-wiltshire.org.uk to find out more and complete a booking form.
